Really liked this one. Big malty palate, semi sweet with a good bitterness (though a little more bite would have been nice)! Good clean finish, wish it was more available in my area.

Draught at Texas Showdown, Austin. Blond color with small white head. Hoppy aroma and flavor, some lemon and maybe a hint of pear, couldn’t really place what it was exactly.

Blond color, nice lace. Quite crispy Pils with a reasonable malt profile and a strong Saaz hopping. Good.

Has a gold body with not much of a head. Aroma is slight lemon, pineapple, and honey. The taste has a nice hop background along with honey and two row.

Traditional Pilsner, with a gold body, white head and mild aroma. Overall ok but, not great.

Dead on typical body. Amber coloration with nice soap thin head. Nose is oange and lemons. Sweet honey amarillo or saaz. Flavour is citric and sharp with lemon, twinge of bubblegum. Mouth finishes fast with a thin bitterness.

Not a lot of these old world pilseners being made anymore. Great Saaz hop character. Slight diacetyl, though - would have scored higher on flavor.

On tap. Clear gold color. Slightly corny, with pils hops. Average at best, although Victory’s is the only worthy pilsner I’ve had in the U.S.
