COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is a golden-colored brew that balances a pleasant hoppiness with its smooth malt flavor. It finishes dry with a moderate bitterness

travita (2535) - Frisco, Texas, USA - MAR 18, 2009
On tap at the Gingerman in Austin. The look is clear, almost golden in color, not much of its white head. The smell is some floral hops character, citrus, little weak overall. The taste is light malts and floral hops balance. Little watery.

on tap, clear gold color with some foam, nose is sweetish citric while flavor is a sweet muddle of fruit and sugars, finish is a little thick and somewhat bitter also

jujubeast6000 (854) - Houston, Texas, USA - OCT 19, 2008
(draft @ Alamo Drafthouse Ritz, Austin, TX): Pours a clear yellow body, white head, lastingish. Some aroma but not much. Some grain maybe, hard to tell. Bitter, some malt, watery.

(On tap) Tastes extremely atypical for a Pilsener. Clear, light, refreshing, and fairly hoppy, but the character of the hops is very different from what I’d expect from this style, and in my opinion, falls short of even the mainstream German and Czech Pilseners. But...besides this, this was a decent beer.

bleeng (1085) - Huntsville nowhere near Beersel, Alabama, USA - SEP 15, 2008
Draft at The Dig Pub, Cedar Park TX. Pours very clear, golden, effervescent. Nose is full of malt and bitterness. Taste is bitter, malty, rich, a bit thick for a pils. Full aftertaste that sticks to the tongue and palate. A very nice refreshing beer and well done.

ansermadide (850) - Kyle, Texas, USA - AUG 29, 2008
(On draft at Opal Devine’s in Austin on August 22, 2008) No head on this clear pint. No carbonation. Aroma is sweet, pilsy. Flavor is tangy. Typical plis qualities, though. Honestly, a little watery. Soft… nice strength… yet flat. The under-edges of my tongue are swelling and watery. Must be bitter. Huh. Overall, too floral for my taste.

scraff (2118) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUL 20, 2008
Draft @ Brickskeller. Clear gold, creamy white head. Aroma held notes of grassy toasted grains with an underlying wet hay and apple tone. Nutty earth and grassy flavors round to a faint bitter ending. Light bodied with light carbonation throughout. A poor excuse for a Pils...

kmweaver (3025) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - JUL 20, 2008
Draft @ Brickskeller. Pours a clear, effervescent, light golden color; creamy, thick white head with great retention and glass-coating lacing; like the amber and the IPA, gorgeous in the glass, but not elsewhere. Soft cereal and wet malts in the aroma; minimal hop character; decently crisp and toasty, but a touch of butter (appears more in the mouth). Medium mouthfeel: prominent bitterness, soft toasted cereal, some mineral bitterness, but not much; drinkable, but nothing exceptional pils-wise by any means. Medium finish: toasted grains, sugar, and some mineral bitterness showing through.
