3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Craft and Growler - I really like their hefe, and this didn’t disappoint, either - creamy texture, full in the mouth - quite dry for the strength, with flavors of nutty malt, white pepper, clove, nutmeg - some sweetness arrives late, a bit live brown sugar - finish of tart baked apples - really nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Brown bodied, smooth head. Soft roasted, sweaty clove y yeast, wheat creaminess, bubbly yet pleasant carbonation. Fairly sweet but drinkable so and enough roasted malt backup. Pretty nice and true to the style except perhaps a bit too murky but I don’t mind that. Smooth drinkable autumn drinker. (On tap at The Liberty Tavern Austin)

On tap at Ginger Man Fort Worth. Definitely smells like a wheat. The taste surprised me. Sweeter than I was expecting.

Cloudy leathery brown in color. Spicy clove and cinnamon flavors followed by slight citrus hops note. This is kinds like a Christmas cake type thing. Overal, a solid holiday brew. Thanks Kevin for sharing!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap in a point glass. Pours a hazy brown color with a thin white head and no lacing. Aroma is mostly banana esters coming from the hefeweizen yeast. Taste is also pretty strong on the banana flavor with some hop bite upfront. Also a little sweet. Average carbonation with a slight lingering pucker.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aroma is Beligian yeast and spice. Pours a very cloudy unfiltered dark amber with a mostly diminishing off white head and spotty lacing. The taste is much like the nose. Overall mildly sweet. Hints of spice and banana. Medium body soft carbonation. Overall, not very pretty, but very enjoyable. I would drink again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample at Hay Merchant in Houston. This beer is a murky ruddy amber color with a medium creamy off-white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Bananas and toasted malt in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of banana, caramel malt and a bit of chocolate. The finish is sweet with a banana aftertaste. Decent overall.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours hazy brown topped by a dense tan head. Possibly the most accurate commercial description I’ve ever seen -- spicy and fruity with a dark, rich roasty malt character nails it exactly.
