2/25/12. On tap during RBWG 2012. Clearish black pour with a small tan head. The aroma is a bit plain - somewhat watery but with a hint of roast and butter. Light toast in the flavor with definite butter. Diacetyl? Eh.

Clearish black with an average beige head. Aroma of not much but some roast. Mild taste of roast and ash. Thin. Nothing here. Didn’t even finish the pint.

Draft. Dark brown with small tan head. Aroma of caramel and butterscotch. Light body with bitter roasted malts upfront and a cardboard and stale coffee finish.

Pours dark brown to black with a small head. Smell is smoky roast and yeasty. Toasty, roasty malt with an almost smokiness to it. Didn’t have very good carbonation as it was poured on tap to a pitcher, and then my glass. Didn’t care for this one and I’d stick to their Pilz or Hefeweizen if given the chance.
