Bottle, 50 cl. Light hazy golden with decent white head. Aroma has notes of citrus, anis, light malts. A little sourness, too. Flavor is sweet and fruity, leading to a bitter, light herbal, slightly acidic hoppy finish. One of the better British IPA, I’ve had.

Papsoe (25074) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 20, 2012
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Herbal British hop aroma. Medium body, a slightly tart fruitiness, with muddled British hops. Bitter finish alright, but unfortunately the British hops dominate making an unfocused and muddled hoppiness. 200312

Cask. Deep golden orange color with a tiny white head. The nose is pine, citrus, west coast notes. The taste is mango, other citrus. Dry finish, woody hoppiness. Quite hop-forward.. The body’s a bit thin, could do with some fleshier malt presence.. Overall, a pretty decent ipa.

Cask at Euston Tap, London. A golden coloured pour with a small white head on top. Hoppy, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes malty, citrus fruit, hoppy but too bitter for my palate. Decent in small doses though.

Cask at Euston Tap, London. Pours clear gold with a weak head. Some dry citrus in the nose. Medium sweet flavor, some orange and tangerine, light toast, subtle booze. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Some citrusy hops and straw to finish, light stickiness. Ok.

Ungstrup (29992) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 18, 2011
Cask at GBBF 2010. A hazy amber beer with no head. The aroma has notes of malt, hops, and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of citrusy hops combined with medium notes of sweet malt, leading to a very bitter finish.
