Cask at GBBF 2010. A hazy amber beer with no head. The aroma has notes of malt, hops, and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of citrusy hops combined with medium notes of sweet malt, leading to a very bitter finish.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2010. Gold, slight haze. Lasting beige head. Certainly has the hops, really aggressive on the hops, some bitterness, maybe a touch of rubber on the really aggressive hops. Bitterness comes through. Big huge IPA. Maybe needs touch more balance.

wyzzywyz22 (1961) - Wirral, Merseyside, ENGLAND - OCT 14, 2010
Bottle from Carringtons, Chorlton. Poured a hazy amber colour with minimal head. Nose had some restrained grassy hop lurking with sweetish notes of tangerine, nectarine and faint alcohol. Flavour started out slightly sweet and fruity, then the hop bitterness kicked in and built steadily to a really prolonged finish. A characterful and way above average English IPA that is definitely worth a look.

Svesse (6157) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 12, 2010
(Cask at GBBF London Earl’s Court, 4 Aug 2010) Dark golden colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with tropical fruit, citrus, sweet malt and a generous, piney bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, fairly sweet. Well balanced with plenty of malt to back up the generous hop character. Very nice.
