Tap and served in a chalice the day before the anno party: Hazy light amber with a small frothy head and spotty lace. The aroma has a sour pitty and slightly funk character, a bit horsey, lactic, vinegar and green apple. Floral hops with a touch of caramel and biscuit. A bit of peach nose come around as it warms. The taste develops a very nice twangy light fruit and acidic note along with some earthy and coppery tones. Slightly iodine but very slight. Taste like a well made not overpowering Gueuze. The mouth feel is lively and easy drinking, moderately dry finish. The is very nice indeed, quite surprising and passed my expectations honestly. Will seek out again, well played.

Bottle, thanks sean. Reddish-brown pour with a small fizzy head that fades to a thin film and ring. Strong barnyard brett in the aroma with a hint of sour cherry and lemon. Tastes moderately sour. Moderately acidic. Some vinegar. Strong leather. Very dry and pretty thin too. Ok sour.

Bottle: The aroma consists of mild tart cherry, light lemon, herbal notes, and a touch of oak. It pours hazy amber with a small off-white head that fades to a minimal film outlined by a thick ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of sour cherry, light cola, and a touch of vinegar. The finish has light sour lemon, herbal notes, and oak. It?s light-medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2015 Bottle: Thanks, Sean. Murky, opaque swampy brown & dingy copper head that fades quickly a chunky collar. Aroma of must, cobweb, cotton, toast, & some mildly funky stone fruit. Flavor follows with damp cotton, must, corky funk, cherry skin, faint stone fruit, & a touch of drying oak. Not bad. Slightly bland & Brett heavy but still pretty good.

Bottle from Sean - thanks! Aggressive pop of the cork gives me a murky copper colored pour and a froth of off-white foam. Oak, mineral, light tart, and lemon in the aroma. Taste is mineral, earthy grain, light tart, touch of funk, and a slightly bitter sour through the finish. Clean and dry mouthfeel. Subtle but very nice. Actually enjoyed this a bit more than the raspberry. great beer.

Draft sample. Poured hazy reddish brown with an average frothy reddish white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy raspberry sour fruity and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a dry smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet & sour fruit flavor and a medium Our & sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Good young that could be better with some age.

Sampled from the tap at the 15th annual MBGSF. Pours a cloudy deep gold w with an orange hue and a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a nice tartness with a bit of stone fruits and a backing grain. Flavor has a good amount of acid and sourness that works nicely with the underling barrel note.
