Commercial Description:
A single malt and single hop version of an American Brewers classic style. This is definitely our hoppiest beer and quickly becoming a hop head cult classic!

ACBF on 6/21. Nice malt in the beginning, nice citrusy hop at the end. Enough said... but this one is much better than it sounds. Turns out you can get a ton of flavor and complexity out of one hop variety and one malt. Well done.

Draft in a tulip. Lasting white head with a fairly clear orange yellow color. Citrus, grapefruit aroma. Good bitterness long lasting and drinkable. Good solid IPA.

In short: A juicy (grapefruits and such) hoppy blonde ale . Very refreshing
How: Tap at brewpub
TheyThe look: Cloudy blonde body with a long-lasting medium white head.
In long: Tropical fruits covered by honey and some caramel. Very juicy floral hops with quite a bit of grapefruits and a medium tartness. Very refreshing. No alcohol presence whatsoever. Fresh crispness feeling. Nothing resinous or heavy here, this IPA more concerned about being refreshing than being a hard-core extreme bitter American IPA. To kick more ass this beer would have to served in a boot.

Snifter @ Hopcat: Wow. I thought this was fantastic. Pours a glowing, hazy orange. Smells like fresh squeezed white grapefruits. Bitterness just rolls off the tongue here. Dangerously drinkable.

Tasted 4/27/08. 6oz sampler from the brewpub. Filtered with a honey gold hue. Trace white head. Citrus and grapefruit nose. Crisp smooth and appley. Bright and fresh. WOW! Big and meaty beer. Full bodied and sticky. Lotta hoppy flavor. So nice. One of my favorites from this place.
