The look: Almost clear amber with a small long lasting beige head.
In long: Less ripe bananas than a usually get in Dunkel Weizens, this one did have some ripe bananas but also a lot of fruit salad. As usual for the style, clove was present in the nose taste but at an acceptable low level. This is a very good beer. Medium body. Carbonation is very lively, this is a very lively Livery beer.

May 11, 2008 Tasted 4/27/08. 6oz samle from the brewpub. Hazy with a reddish hue. White ring of head. Trace perfumy nose. Caramel and grainy. Touch fruity esters. Tight effervescence. Toasty and estery. Lingering bitter finish. Lacing head. Good but not typical to the style.

May 6, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. The body was dark copper with an off white head. The aroma was caramel with some light iced tea. The taste was iced tea along with some caramel. A decent brew.

May 3, 2008 On tap at The Livery; probably the pourest of the beers that I had at this solid brewery in Benton Harbor. Found it to not be a great represenation of the style. Mouthfeel was a bit on the light side. As previous rater mentioned, not much of a wheat presence.

Apr 3, 2008 growler from BBB63. Cloudy copper. Aroma of banana, spice. Flavors of fruit, but not much wheat. Thin mouthfeel. Light bodied.
