sneagrams3 (1367), St. Louis, Missouri, USA May 13, 2008 Tasted 4/27/08. 6oz sample from the brewpub. Filtered with a dark amber hue. Trace head. Honey raisin graham crackers and cinnamon aromas. Toasty. Medium to full bodied. Nice citrus effervescence. Raspberry fruity esters. All malt on the palate. Touch dry and tart, but a great representation. Flavorful.

drewbeerme (1782), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 17, 2008 on tap at GTMW ’08. pours chestnut brown off white head. bready and nutty aroma. sweet bread. flavors of oxidized doughy sweet caramel nuts, pretty nice db. kseecs16 (513), Westmont, Illinois, USA Aug 13, 2008 On tap at the Great Taste of the Midwest 2008. Has strong almost oaky dry malty character. The alcohol lingers nicely. Not overly sweet but dark roast fruit and sugars are evident. Nice.
RAYBOY01 (1622), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 10, 2008 Big alcoholic brew...very dark brown pour and little or no head. The nose is dark fruits and deeply roasted malts. The flavor is a sticky sweet concoction of dark fruits and brown sugar over the vinous roasted malt caramel and toffee gooeyness supporting everything else. High octane warmer.
