Glass at the brewpub. Very hazy golden orange. The nose is quite hoppy with malt and some spice. Thevtaste is hop forward but tjey are both U S ans European. There is some biscuity malt. This is not bad at all and the mix of hops is nice.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft. Pours a hazed apricot color with a white head that leaves nice lace on the glass. Sweet aroma of orange, grapefruit, and slight pineapple in the nose. Medium mouthfeel. Citrus sweetness gives way to a building hop bitterness that starts subtle and builds in momentum until the very end. Nice IPA and one that I would drink again anytime.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft sample at MBGF Summer 2009.
Poured hazy amber color with a large frothy white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate sour citrus hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
My expectations where met with a drinkable complex brew.
