BBB63 (3767), La Porte, Indiana, USA Oct 9, 2005 On tap at brewery: Orangy sunset hue with a good frothy head and nice sticky lace. The aroma has notes of piney and floral hops, citrus, and dusty esters. The taste starts with a nice crisp citric touch, light pepper, and yeasty character. This is a rather straight-forward APA, but quaffable. The body is a thin and watery, dry and dusty finish. A cross between a contential and PNW pale ale. goldtwins (3721), Nesconset, New York, USA May 7, 2006 Draft @ The Livery: Slight hazed copper color with an off-white head. Fruity apricot in the aroma. Sweet and malty flavor. Fruity with some caramel notes. Tmoney99 (3503), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Oct 4, 2006 Draft sample at brewpub. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth slick texture. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration. Silphium (2006), Lansing, Michigan, USA Jul 28, 2008 On tap at HopCat, Grand Rapids. Clear amber body, thin off-white head. Leafy and bitter body, toasty and grassy with very light sweetness. Somewhat watery and bland. The Livery turns out a number of hoppy beers, but this was one of the weaker ones I’ve sampled.
