Cornfield (4245), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA May 4, 2008 Interesting. A brew called a "German Pils" is listed as a generic Pilsener. Oh, well. I got a hefty pour from an anonymous donor on DLD. It poured a hazy yellow body with a lasting fizzy head. The aroma had both bready and grainy malt with a light grassy/herbal hoppiness. True to style, that hoppy bitterness was sharp and plentiful in the flavor, nicely balancing the well rounded malt sweetness. This is a class act brewery.

Glouglouburp (1852), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jun 6, 2008 In short: A fresh and juicy Pilsner. Almost too drinkable.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Cloudy light blonde body topped by a little white ring of foam.
In long: Full bodied with a generous amount of pils. Malts are mostly dry grassy with a little fruity too with notes of citrus fruits and grapefruits. Bitterness is very mild, finish a more juicy than dry. An overall freshness feeling somewhat reminiscent of the fresh pils I was drinking in Czech Republic. I don’t know what Fred’s misfortunes but he found a mean to forget about it. sneagrams3 (1324), St. Louis, Missouri, USA May 13, 2008 Tasted 4/27/08. 6oz sample from the brewpub. Filtered with a golden hue. Trace white head. Light to mediumn bodied with tight effervescence and a dry finish. Crisp and grainy. Tart and dry. Cookie and cracker undertones. Another solid interpretation. heemer77 (3536), North Liberty, Iowa, USA May 6, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. The body is cloudy medium cold. The aroma is biscuits with some carrots and Saaz. The taste is bready with some nice Saaz in the finish. A solid pils. kmweaver (1770), Takoma Park, Maryland, USA Apr 28, 2008 Draft @ The Livery. Pours a hazy, golden yellow color; bright white head with web-like lacing. Pleasant amount of juicy, resiny mineral and citrus hops in the aroma; dry, crisp. Medium mouthfeel: soft toasty grains, mineral bitterness and citrus; dry, crisp fee; intensely drinkable. Dry, crisp finish: minerals and toasty grains.
