I believe FlandersNed graciously shared this with me at Jackie O’s. My first beer from the Livery. LIving in South Bend for a big chunk of my life I have to say I was definitely excited to try this. Cloudy pink pour with a fizzy white head. Funky aroma with subtle hints of cherries. Spritzy mouth-feel. Tart, fruity and refreshing. Dry
I cant wait to try more sours from these guys. send em’ my way!!!
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 thewolf (9829) - Kolding, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2010
Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Pours a nice clear deep red with a light creamy off-white film head. Aroma is delicious, cherries, caramel, sweetness, light sugary. Highish carbonation, dry and elegant mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, cherries, tartness, tomato(?), oranges, viniousness. Light burning in my throat. Somehow it all doesn’t add up.

livery fifth anniv. reminds me of a cherry oude bruine as well but huge acidic cherry notes all over the place, and an intense sourness that pretty much defeats all other aspects of this beer. very good tho
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 marcus (4989) - Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 30, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. Pours reddish brown with a thin beige head and a cherry and alcohol aroma. There is a rich malt flavor, very sour with noticeable cherry taste. Nicely aged in a merlot cask, this is every bit as good as some of the better Belgian krieks, but with an American spin.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2011 On tap at The Livery 5th anniversary party. Poured brown with a yellow hue and minimal head that dissipated completely. Aroma was full of tart cherries with a strong oak note. flavor was slightly sweet with cherries in the beginning, but quickly became tart with a oak undertone throughout the beer.

Thanks to beerlando. Belgian yeasts, red fruits and a slight oakiness. Solid brew.

2009 Bottle - Thanks BBB63!! - Been holding this for a while and was able to share with some friends this past weekend...Pours clear and rusty red with a small off white head...aroma is massively funky, buggy lactic wood, cherry skin and flesh...flavour is similar, incredibly acetic and lactic, but not vinegary in the slightest, intense fruit sourness, tannic oak, smooth vanilla sweetness on the end...no noticable alcohol at all... this was incredible...
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 andersand (521) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JAN 31, 2010
Dark brown with a reddish note. Rather heavy both sour and sweet malty aroma with notes of oak and somewhat grainy malt. Flavour is nicely balanced between sweet malt and acidic cherry and oak flavours though with a tad too much alcohol shining through. Ends on a oaky note with some alcohol.

Tried at paytoplay’s house. Bottle probably brought by WeeHeavySD. Thanks Jon! Red amber color. Awesome, awesome. Lots of cherry. Super incredibly easy to drink (especially for 12%). Lightly sweet. Some caramel. Low bitterness, like cherry skin tannins.
