Bottle. [thank you, dedollewaitor]
[at dedollewaitor’s Odense tasting]
Pours light hazy yellow with a fine medium, frothy white head. Fine lacing. Aroma is yeast and light maltiness. Super mouthfeel. Flavour is highly vinious, lightly metallic, a bit sweet, some apple. Far too much alcohol!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JorisPPattyn (7363) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAR 8, 2008
Thick-set, creamy & cream-coloured head, irregular and leaving lace over hazy dark-orange beer. White candi sugar, quite citrussy with a point of sourness suggested, and some alcohol. Dried citrus leaves. Dry-bitter beer, with a leafy character, and almost imperceptible sour tang. Some sweetness on the palate, but faint. Again citrus flavours. Alcohol comes out in the palate, which is pretty dry. Medium to well-bodied, despite all the sugar-derived alcohol. Nice beer, the nearly bitter dryness conforts me in the tale I’ve been spun, that this is a differently sweetened exportversion from the Kapittel Blond.

Bottled. A hazy light orange coloured beer with little head. The aroma is sweet fruits, hops and a little pepper. The taste is spicy peppery with warming alcohol. Certainly reminiscent of a tripel. Pretty good.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 TBone (9997) - Pori, FINLAND - JAN 2, 2008
Bottled (BB 08/2009)
Hazy orange color with small steady white head. Honey, mango and some papery hops in reasonably strong nose. After this kind of aroma, beer is drier than expected. Packed with alcohol and some fruityness and spiceyness. Alcohol is warming, but not dominating. Dry finish with papery notes (hops?). A bit too simple palate, although it is decent brew (tripel I would say).

33 cL bottle. Pale gold with a transient white head. Caramel-sweet, honeyish aroma with yeast and corn. Flavor is quite sweet all the way through with a bit of booze. Like candy. Full body. Cloying.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ethereal (2399) - Los Angeles, California, USA - AUG 27, 2007
330ml bottle, Quinns, 12th August 2007 (with Mes and Sim). Pours a cloudy amber. Spicy wheat and malt aroma, with the same elements carried through in the taste. The palate is heavy with the strength, unsurprisingly, somewhat evident. Nice beer.
