Bottled at Akkurat. Vintage bottle around 10 yrs. Brown, cloudy with no head. Stony aroma with notes of blue cheese, chocolate fudge, vanilla and dried fruits. Syrupy flavor with notes of alcohol, spices, fruit, wet stone, sugar and mouldy cellar. Somewhat dry.

Rated @ Stockholm beer festival. Aged >15 years. Hazy brown with light brown head. Sweet aroma with caramel and raisins. Very malty almost vineous flavour with toffee and hazelnut. Worth waiting for...!

Bottled, best before 1992. Cloudy mid brown with creamy head. Concetrated aroma of chestnut and caramel. Richly malty with pleasant character of almonds and butter. Soft, soothing mouthfeel, plenty of toffee and notes of madeira. Has aged with grace, and is now an excellent and complex top class beer.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very dark amber with a huge, frothy and creamy head. Nuts in both nose and flavour, slightly burned malt. Comes close to good quality abbey ales. 221199
