3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 auvajs (144) - Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC - FEB 8, 2011
Bottled. Labelled as "Baron Tmavý ležák", ABV 4,7%. Interesting dark lager (dunkel?) with some fruity notes - which I haven’t seen by Czech dunkels so far - so I have to admit one of the most interesting maybe the most interesting beer from my local supermarket (Norma). I’ll definitely drink this one again.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 seritomi (260) - HUNGARY - FEB 4, 2011

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 TheHulk (485) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 5, 2010
It’s not really there. It’s sort of a gost. Theres no aroma that I can discern whatsoever. It’s brownish but very boring to look at. It’s very smooth and even, a nice sweet end with some coffee and toffee touches, but oh so subtle. This is a sessionable darker beer, but nothing too special. This really comes back at you later, this particular bottle is nearing the end date. would be better fresh. Though I just learned it’s retired....
