500 ml bottle at home. Poured into a lager glass. ABV 4.7% Brown coloured with a good sized tan head, thick and creamy, with good retention, leaving heavy lacing around the glass. Aroma of chocolate, toffee, caramel. Nice taste, toasted malts, chocolate, light coffee and mocha, a bit of metal, light caramel, fruity notes on the finish. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Medium thin body, carbonation on the lower side. Overall pretty good.

Drank out of hefeweizen a glass Aroma: molasses, wood Appearance: perfect amount of head but doesn’t linger for long, dark reddish brown colour Taste: sweet molasses, definitely not a session beer but one tasted really nice. A lot nicer than I expected Palate: kind of thin but just the right amount of carbonation Overall: this beer surprised me, dark lager doesn’t describe it well
