COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION EXP #005 LOBO Dry Pear. 2012 was a very good pear season and we decided to try a dryer style of Pear Cider. The pears were pressed, racked and then fermented very cool, in stainless steel, to preserve the aromas. The sugars were allowed to ferment to dryness - hence the name. Delicately aromatic, difficult to describe a peary as it is more floral - perhaps pear blossom in nature, with typical pear softness in the mouth. Bottle fermented, it has a lively fizz and clean finish. Wow - what a great drink with dessert !! STOP PRESS: Winner of Australian Cider Awards 2012 Best in Class 5 Dry Perry
