On tap in Megève-- Pours clear golden with medium white head, rather persistent. Nose is herbal hops. Aromas are sweet malts, herbal hops, fruits (banana). Average carbonation, light body. Medium fruity and bitter finish. Quite ok for an industrial lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bevuta alla spina al paddock di Torino. Nulla da dire. Una moretti calda é meglio. Sentore dolciastro metallico. Semplicemente... lasciamo perdere. Per essere una pils non riesce neanche ad essere dissetante.

Not a bad lager. Pale yellow, thick head. Biscuity base with a crisp, vaguely stale hop character.

Una lager belga, bionda con schiuma media, bevibile, non mi ha lasciato molto, sui pasti può andare.

Alengrin (4077) - BELGIUM - SEP 3, 2014
’Luxe pils’, one of the last Belgian representatives of a more ’luxurious’ form (though only superficially) of pale lager inspired by Carlsberg and Tuborg in the seventies. Bright yellowish blonde lager with grainy and malt sweet profile, some corn, spicy hops in the finish like in its Danish predecessors, but still a boring and industrial standard lager.

Niet echt iets speciaals, er zit niet veel smaak aan dit bier. Dan zijn er veel betere te vinden dan dit

Draft at random Irish bar in Paris, watching the USA lose to Belgium in the World Cup. Appropriate sorrow drowner. Clear pale yellow. Aroma lightly grainy, think adjuncts. Flavor is absent, just lightly grainy. Insipid industrial lager. Enough said.

From the archives, 2009. Bottle. Clear golden color, average frothy white head, disappears after a while; malty nose, grain, corn, hay; oily to watery texture; bit thin sweetbitter taste and finish; medium body.

Tap @ Beer&co, Villeneuve d’Asq. Wat mufheid in aroma, wat graan. Kraag blijft plakkerig, lijkt op afwassop structuur. Smaak is fris, gemiddelde pils body, nasmaak is prikkelend. Niet heel complex, maar aangenaam wegdrinkend.
