A JAP beer in my book, but once again a reasonable thirst quencher in the warm French Spring sunshine. Has a grassy, hoppy quality that I liked, but if I drank this back in Sweden it would be utterly forgetable. (Love the commercial description - a real selling point!)

UPDATED: APR 13, 2007 Bottle. Typical pilsen, with a very weak aroma and taste. Nothing more to say...

(Bottle at Delirium Café, Göteborg) Golden color, small head. Yeasty and malty aroma with hoppy notes. Malty flavor with some spices. Quite a mild finish.

rickgordon (3843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 30, 2007
Bottled. Delirium Café, Göteborg. Deep golden colur. Average head. Honey pastilles in aroma. No sourness, no adjuncts it seems. Light sweet mouthfeel. Marzipan is evident in aroma. Bit chemical when warmed up. Very smooth mouthfeel with honey in flavour. Not all bad.

sinte (322) - Udine, ITALY - JAN 24, 2007
Bottle 0.33L Moderate hops and malty aroma (flowers). Dark golden body, with a small, fizzy, white head; fully diminishing with virtually no lacing. Flavour is well balanced between sweet amd bitter, maybe a bit sweeter at the beginning; short bitter-sweet finish. Light-to-medium body with a watery texture; lively carbonation; light astringent feeling in the finish. A bit more than a standard lager; well balanced.

On tap. Golden, clear beer with a small white head. Mostly malty aroma, with some hops. Malt, caramel and floral hoppiness in the flavor. The body is medium. The finish starts malty, but is soon becoming quite hoppy. Refreshing beer, but not worth seeking out. (060709)

On tap in Arras, France. Poured a deep yellow and a decnet white head. Slightly sweet with a little bits of hops in the finish. Generic euro-lager.

Dorqui (2095) - Brescia, ITALY - OCT 7, 2005
Yellow shining color, limpid and bubbly, much pale. Compact and lively foam, medium duration. Hoppynes and fresh scent, light balsamic. Little dry taste, bitter and with a much watery and slightly little agreeable finish.

ABUSEDGOAT (2336) - California, USA - JUN 12, 2005
On tap somewhere in France. I forgot to rate this one, and the reason is fairly obvious. It’s a boring, uninspiring brew. "No commercial description" is an accurate description... there’s nothing worth marketing.

Papsoe (25089) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 24, 2005
(Bottle 25 cl) Style, label, bottle - everything here signals a yuppieish premium lager. And that’s precisely what it is. Pale golden, with a fine, dense head. And then there’s nothing much more to say. Some hops in the finish. Bland. 070795
