Had this in a brasserie in paris. Staff not so kind. Beer was very refreshing after day walking around and at musee d’orsee. Hostelling culture is crazy.

Light pilsner appearance with a lightly hopped and slightly caramel aroma. The flavour is fresh and lightly hopped, making a very fresh drink indeed.

draft - Poured clear gold with a thin head and a light pale malt aroma. It tasted sweet and light, so sweet it reminded me of some belgian blonde beers. It was lively on the palate and to me made for a decent session beer. It’s a bit lower rated than I expected. Maybe the quality drops significantly in bottles or maybe I was just having a good night and liked anything.

Light and hoppy. A good modern pilsner.

From my notes 6/14/07 pours a one-finger white head that fades quickly to a ring, leaving a good lace. Crystal clear amber color. Slight hoppy nose. Good carbonation and light-medium bodied. Flavor is a smooth lager, clean finish, some bitterness in aftertaste. €4.00 ($5.48) on-tap 0.5L glass from Holiday Inn Nice, France.

On draught (pression) at Le Terminus de Mille in Paris. Golden blonde color with a medium white and bubbly head. Thin lacing. The aroma consists of mildly floral hops. Smooth body with a kind of weak hops flavor, along with a hint of malt. The finish is dry and lightly bitter. Nothing offensive here, just thoroughly average in every regard.

A standard Euro-Pils with a little heavier body. Clean in the flavour with no surprises, and nothing wrong.

Served on tap at a restaurant in Paris. Pour has a largish, rocky white head with good retention and lacing. Gold clear body. Aroma is a rich grassiness. Taste is like a German Pils. Nice and thirst quenching. Kind of sweet. Mouthfeel is a bit dry with a bit too bubbly carbonation. Not bad.

A JAP beer in my book, but once again a reasonable thirst quencher in the warm French Spring sunshine. Has a grassy, hoppy quality that I liked, but if I drank this back in Sweden it would be utterly forgetable. (Love the commercial deScription - a real selling point!)
