On tap at Local Option. Pour is reddish brown with a small light tan head. Aroma is of burnt sugar, bourbon, oak chips, and a touch of bitter sweet chocolate. Flavor is a tad cloying with a sour funky finish. This beer is all over the place, but it works in a weird way.

Might as well rate this again. This is the same beer I had at FOBAB according to the brewer. I did have it again on draft at local option, maybe better this time, more oak tones, more tannins.

more sour than i would’ve liked. but not too sour to finish. (astringent, cheese, toast, citrus, golden, umami, salty, amber, frothy, sparkling, floral)
