Tasted this in the Esquire House, Glasgow (JDW) in February 2013. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear amber in colour with a thin creamy white head. Short aroma of candied fruit/fruit jellies noted. Good lacing throughout and oily mouthfeel. Pale malts give a distinct digestive biscuit base with a sweet note of pink grapefruit later on. Very quick hop presence with just a hint of bitter resins evident in the all too brief aftertaste. Finish is malty with a barley sugar note present in the palate. A decent session bitter from this new brewery. Reminded me of Strathalbyn 70/ for those of you who can remember that far back!

Bottle at ChrisO Holiday Tasting, London - thanks to Chris, probably. Pours clear gold with a light, white foam head. Light dry, toasty bread aroma, some mild floral hops. Light to medium sweet flavor with mellow, dry caramel and toasted bread. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderate bready malt finish, with some faint, dry hay and modest floral bitterness. Fine.

Bottle at ChrisO tasting, thanks to Chris (I think?), 30/12/12. Lightly hazed mid golden with a thin off white head that clears to the edge and leaves a small film. Nose is pale malt, light fruits, sugars. Taste follows, apple/orchard fruit, light caramel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Assume the ’W’ position!

On cask at The Pot Still. Pours a golden amber colour with a decent white head. Aroma of yeast, caramel, lemon, pine and alcohol. Similar flavours and mildly bitter with moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Just a hint of apple seed in the linger.

0,5l flaske hjemført av ølvenn Willy. 4,5%. Myk, fyldig og behagelig smak med noe mer humle enn det som ofte er vanlig i scottish ales. Skyldes kanskje at de bruker frisk humle og ikke barr pellets?godt øl.
