Light doesn’t need to be boring. A refreshing pale ale with a hint of hop and citrus finish. SO much taste from so little abv.

A light hoppy beer, easy drunk with a refreshing tang, may be a bit hoppy for some tastes.

On cask @ the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden almost towards water in colour. A nicely proportioned head. Nose - clean notes of lemon mainly, some pale malt but very minimal. Taste - more of the same as with the nose. Palate - light bodied, long and dry. Overall - a decent balanced session ale, I thought.

Fairly average beer. Quite bitter taste with lingering palette. Interesting deep roasted notes. Not too complex.

Bottle from Deeside Drink Emporium. It pours golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is sweetish pale malt, pithy citrus, hay and a touch of farmyard. The taste is straw, zesty lemon, grapefruit, peppery and quite high bitterness with a dry, citric finish. Light body and fine carbonation. A decent light hoppy ale, but nothing special.

Bottle at home from AleselA
Pours pale blonde with a fluffy open textured white head and strong pine and grapefruit zest on the nose. Fairly high carbonation, light bodied, touch of sweet biscuit malt up front, followed by grapefruit pith for a pleasing long bitter finish. Slight cattiness appears on aroma with warming.
