Cask at the Thithe Bar, Northallerton, September 2013. Clear brown with beige head. Cocoa and spices like cardamom, onion and clove in the nose. Tastes weird - black pepper and paprika. Light body, chocolate cake finish. Curiosity, gimmick, but nice.

Cask @ SIBA Craft Beer Festival, Glasgow. Reddish brown, reasonable head. Spicy leafy resin aroma. Bitter woody biscuit grain flavour. Sharp with bitter aftertaste. I like this beer.

Half pint Cask at The Inn At Inverbeg during their First Annual Beer Festival. A bit hazy with medium head, that lasts.

tombyars (1348) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - SEP 7, 2013
Tasted this at the Fairlie BF@ Village Inn in August 2013. Cask, gravity dispense. Opaque russet in colour with no head. Dusty floral hop note in the short aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and no lacing. Mixed malts give a biscuit base with tart pink grapefruit noted in the mouth. Slight cabbage note present in the aftertaste with floral hops imparting a resiny dryness. Finish is on the hoppy side with dry resins evident. A poor example of an Amber Ale and nothing of note here to be honest.

Cask, 4.0 % abv, half pint at Cloisters. Golden-brown body with a reddish glint. Beige layer blanketing the glass. Malt-fruity nose. Flavours of leafy hops and caramel malts. Deep bitter ending. Medium to thin bodied. Just alright (Edinburgh 07.08.2013).

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 5/8/2013. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Citrus hops with a herbal edge, solid mlats and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Fairly standard amber ale. Little bit stronger, little bit darker, little bit more interesting. Not special.

Cask at SRAF... Copper... Bubbly white head... Soft dry fruit nose... Dry toffee... Light bitternes... Quite woody... Too bitter for me
