Palate - soft carb....medium body....good mouthfeel...smooth...finish as main flavour....nice smooth dark malts
Overall - Well made malty Scottish ale

On cask at Cloisters. Pours a dark ruby colour with a decent beige head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, chocolate and coffee. Similar flavours with a pronounced, lingering sunflower seed character. Quite a dry finish with mild carbonation. Interesting.
