On cask at Salmon Inn, Galashiels - Hazy amber body, thick white head. Rich fruity nose with tropical fruits, peaches and grapefruit. Taste is caramel, with that fruitiness of peach and grapefruit kicking in to give a slightly bitter finish. A nice and pleasant surprise!

Bottle. Didn’t feel like a bitter. Was much more interesting. Dark fruits, boozy but without big body. Interesting earthy taste, lightly spicy.

500ml Bottle - Melon, peach and grapefruit in the aroma. Hoppy and ever so slightly sweet taste with notes of peach, grapefruit, toffee and melon. Tasty and refreshing with plenty of flavour for the strength.

Bottle. Wild fruity aroma, barely follows through to te taste, very dry and feels like it needs a bit more sweetness.

500ml bottle shared with jeevan. Pours clear amber, thin white head, steady bubbles. Quite good hop aromas, more than I was expecting, but less than I might like. Some tropical fruit and pine. Solid malt backbone, which is what you want in a beer this strength to avoid it being too thin. Not bad at all.
