Einfach ein idealer Durstlöscher in jeder noch so feurigen oder brenzligen Situation. Durch die Zugabe von Röst- und Karamalz wird der Geschmack des Lagerbiers etwas süsser. Biertyp: Lagerbier Alkoholgehalt: 4,8% Farbe: brillantes Goldgelb bis Bernstein Hopfen: kaum Hopfenbittere, trocken Eindruck: vollmundig, malzbetont, mild Optimale Trinktemperatur: 5-7°C Etikette: Philipp Broger, Appenzell Seit: 2010

I drank this beer during a walk, coming back from Aletsch, beautiful day of september. This beer is regular, nothing special, average when you are thirsty. For a Vienna lager, I found the taste a bit metalic, malt, some toffee side, hop, a bit watery, side of alcohol, nice color of copper, thin foam.

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, toasted malty. Bitter, grassy. Straw. Toasted. Medium dry and malty finish.

(bottle, 33cl, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, deep golden colour with a medium-sized and minimally off-white foamy head. Slightly sweet malty nose with hints of caramel and nuts. Moderately sweet flavour, rather light bodied with a tame carbonation. Delicately nutty cara-malty taste without any hoppy counterpart to speak of; mildly sweetish malty finish with hints of caramel and delicately spicy hops at the very end. A bit boring, but drinkable Lager. 19.VII.16

Gift from Stefan. Typical darker yellow color, white lacing foam head. Nice barley aroma and deep taste. Good, but normal. (Velp 201607)

Yellow orange color and foam ring. Sweetish malty nose. Malty sweet and sugary creamy. Lightly boring malty sweet aftertaste.

couleur dorée foncé; petite mousse blanche; arômes et goût maltés; bière un peu trop douce avec une finale présentant une très légère amertume

On can from Drinks of the World, Zurich. Clean golden color, good foam. Low aroma intensity; boiled vegetables, some malt and cardboard. Light body & complexity. Good bitterness and balance. Pretty standard stuff

Aus der Bügelflasche. Heller klarer Bernstein. Wenig Schaum. Schwacher Röstmalzduft. Flacher Geschmack. Getreide, etwas seifig. Nicht so toll.

Small, just off-whte head over well-carbonated copperish orange beer. Quite alcoholic, bit liqueurish nose, sweet with some caramel. Sweet-bready flavour, typical Vienna, with a hint of alcohol in the very finish. Bit leafy, caramel again. Light body, bit slick, well-carbonated. Rather convincing Vienna, despite the unexplicable presence of alcohol in a rather light beer. The favourite of my Swiss hosts!
