$3.99 fliptop 11.2 oz. bottle. Best by May 06, 2006. Well, let’s see how it held up. The fliptop bottle popped with a vigorous visible CO2 pop. A haze of CO2 creeps out of the bottle. Poured into my glass, it has a very thick nicely creamy looking white head. A hazy golden body with lots of slow bubbling carbonation. Awesome lacing. This stuff looks amazing. The aroma has that sweet milky corn lager silage thing going on. The flavor is really quite nice. One of the better pale lager’s I’ve had. Creamy caramel, nice cornflake like malt, some oak. Really well balanced. The palate is creamy, lightly dry, nice texture, good carbonation. A pretty darn good Pale Lager. Well worth the $4. Held up well. Wonder how it woulda been in a fresher state.

I agree with my friend TheGodfather. Nice bottle. Not much of an offering, a faint, sweet bready malt with a light indistinguishable hopping in nose and taste. Another fizzy yellow lager.

Cloudy orange with a meager white head. Bready, malty, hoppy aroma but of little consequence. Lots of carbonation. Some woodiness and smoke. Nice bottle, anyway.

Hazy orange with a thin white head. Both malty and hoppy and quite light. Strong aroma of wood and slightly smoky. Very good for a pale lager.

Hazy golden-orange colour with a small white head. Slightly malt aroma, the flavour is malty and a bit hoppy in the aftertaste. (Bottle 33cl)

33cl bottle brought back from a trip to Switzerland by my sister. - Pours dark golden hazy with a short white foamy head. Aromas of light malts, bread, and floral hops. Flavor is malty with lots of bread notes and a touch of caramel but also plenty of floral hop flavor as well. Palate is medium bodied and a touch on the grainy side. Not bad for a pale lager actually.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2009 white head, not very thick orange-golden,slightly hazy color smells malty, hoppy ,some sweet smell smells a bit like bread(in a positive way),flowery, hops, tasts malty, but hoppy too,has something like sweet flower taste(a bit jasmin-like),some alcohol, some interesting bitterness hidden behind the sweetness, cames from oak-barrel, middle carbonated aftertaste hoppier than taste by drinking, malt, oak, aftertaste much less sweet than taste by drinking

Hazy golden color with a moderate off white head. Quite light in aromas, with pale grains, light dough and hints of light comb honey. I’d like to rate higher, but a little to sedate in the nose. Fairly thick and smooth on the palate. Light flavors of pale caramel, malted milk and a touch of pine bark. A touch of wood come in the linger. Definitely fresh oak. The linger is long and intriguing. A light lager JP Lucernaga. I like in a drinkable way.

Pours slightly cloudy dishwater blonde with quickly fading white head. Aroma of malt, hop and honey. Smooth mouthfeel with light carbonation. Light honey flavor with some caramel malt sweetness. Not bad, but needs something to combat the sweetness.

Blond colour, nice thick head, nice perlage, unfiltered. Nice aroma of malt, hop and honey. Good velvety sensation, some malt, a bit sweet. Ordinary palate, would improve with some more bitterness.
