(bottle) pours a dark copper-brown colour with a frothy light beige head. very musty aroma of tobacco and urine, dark fruit, herbal hops, earth and caramel. flavour is mostly the same, lots of earth and roasted wheat, with a hint of old yeast. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

(Flasche) Es hat eine sehr dunkle braune Farbe, ist klar filtriert mit einer fast weißen Schaumkrone. Das Aroma ist warm, malzig und leicht süß mit einer minimalen Röstnote. Der Geschmack ist malzig, leicht röstig aber recht schlank.

bottle from Blaser Kreuzlingen. Clear, amber-brown colour, mid-sized off-white-beige head. Malty, dry roast flavours, shy hops in the finish.

Bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck!): Deep amber coloured, medium-sized - quite stable - off-white head; light to moderate toasty nose with a tinge of chocolate and metal; moderate - relatively dry - sweet-bitter flavour; short malty-bitter finish. Unspectacular, quite well made....

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, dark brown colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet and slightly a ashy malty aroma with traces of chocolate and a tinge of metal. Sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly ashy and slim malty taste with a touch of chocolate and herbal hops towards the finish. Not overly demanding. 20.IV.11

Brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel and malt with a metallic note. Dry and a bit thin malty flavour with a sharp metallic edge

Clear medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dark malt, light roasted, light metalic. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration, light metalic, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic.
