Creamy and adherent head of discreet duration. Orange clearly color with good fizz and nice hazy aspect. Aromas of macerated malt and dampen cereals. Pleasant taste of wine cellar, stum and yeast. Rather sweet with lemon and withered clear grape notes.

Cloudy dark yellow coloured, initially big but disappearing head. Fruity nose, banana, citrus and something else i can’t put my finger on. Predominantly sweet flavour, some bitterness, yeasty notes. Somewhat dry finish. Quite one-dimensional hefeweizen, not really impressive. Thanks to my lovely girlfriend for bringing this from Bern.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Goldorak (439) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 21, 2005
A darker shade of peach, with some sediment in suspention. A nice, thick and cakey froth that slowly died off, but not without clinging for dear life on the inner walls of my glass.
Some citrus in the first nose, then plenty of soothing vanilla and maybe even lavander and floral aromas. Banana esters where there, but not as much as the usual german Hefe.
Lively carbonation, sweet overtones of weizen malt, with hops barely noticable in the finish. A light, enjoyable and refreshing Beer!
