UPDATED: FEB 25, 2003 cloudy dark orange colour, few head, corn and banana with honeyish notes, sweet, robust malt body with a long corn and banana aftertaste

Hazy yellow with good carbonation. A bit of banana etc esters on nose, but a bit bland, not as intensive as i like. A good deal of normal fruity ale esters as well, which doesnt go well for me for a weiss. Taste is unimaginative. Stale yeast. Reminds me of a homebrewed weiss.

Bottle, dekuji Quack-ducku. Hazy yellow color with huge white head. Aroma of wheat, fruity hints, clove. Taste, banana, clove, light bitterness. little tartness in background. Bittersweet finish. Good.

#1184 Feinporiger, standhafter Schaum auf güldenem Weißbier. Leicht fruchtig nach Aprikose, dazu hefig-säuerlich im Aroma. Der Antrunk ist erfrischend. Geschmacklich ordentlich nach Hefe, leicht säuerlich und im Abgang trockener werdend. Zum Glück ist dieses Weizen nicht so süß, was zur Süffigkeit beiträgt. Durchaus gelungenes Weizen der Eidgenossen!

Muffig-getreidiger Bananenantrunk, ansprechend herb. Weiter erfrischend, eher mild, die Aromen sind aber gut aufeinander abgestimmt. Zu Schnell wird das Bier dann aber mild und befindet sich zum Ende an einer wässrigen Grenze, nur die dunkelherbe Getreidigkeit steht noch dazwischen. Ein wenig trocken im Nachgeschmack. Insgesamt in Ordnung. 9/9/10/9/12/11

Bottle 50 cl from Drinks of the world, Basel. Poured cloudy pale yellow in colour with fluffy white head. Sweet banana, malty and yeasty in aroma.

Bottle at Cafe Art’s Geneva. Hazy gold body with tall head. Fruity and bananas nose. Taste also of banana, hops and fruits. Organic. Nice crispy texture. Well done.

Swing-top bottle. Lemon-banana, clove, and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy pale yellow color with moderate head. Slight sweet lemon, light banana, moderately bitter clove and wheat malt flavor. Nice body. Very good - a solid weizen.

Buttery, low hops. Not that pleasant. Thin body. Did not care for this beer at all.

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top.
Unclear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, fruity, light banana, rubber. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20091113]

Cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with wheat and hints of bananas. Sweet yeasty flavour with wheat and banana notes. Dry finish.
