Bügelverschlußflasche (donated by Allen!): Clear, light amber to amber coloured, quite stable and lacy off-white head; sweet caramelly and dark-malty nose with an aromatic-hoppy background; moderate to solid, relatively dry bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; slightly lingering drier robust caramelly and hoppy finish. Fine stuff....and presumably completely different from the samples the co-raters examined!

Wenig süßer Getreideantrunk, der sich zum Mittelteil immer mehr zum Malzigen entwickelt und zusätzlich Karamellnoten beinhaltet. Leider auch wässrig, zurückhaltend bitter-erdig. Nettes, wenn auch wenig aussagekräftiges Bier. 8/10/11/9/9/10

Bottle. Sweet barley malt and grass aroma. Mainly clear amber color with large off-white head. Lightly sweet creamy malt flavor with a lightly bitter grass finish. Light but really like the flavor of the malt.

Bottle, courtesy of KimJohansen. A clear, amber beer with a small, beige head. Slightly meaty nose, but else rather weak. The flavor isn’t much more intense, caramel and some meatyness. Medium to thin body. The finish has some bitterness, but mostly caramel and some meatyness. Super-boring. 100814

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2010. Pours clear amber with a small creamy head and lacings. Nose is sweet malty. Dust, caramel and paper. Medium bodied.

Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, light caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, burnt caramel malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100814]

Swingtop bottle. Clear amber with a medium off white head. The aroma is quite fruity with some hoppy notes. Lots of caramel and fruit in the flavour. Nicely balanced.

Bottle, 5.0%. Weak caramelly aroma. Clear copper colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is a bit watery, but there is some fruit and a little caramel. Harmless.
