Biertyp: Lagerbier Alkoholgehalt: 4,8% Farbe: satt gelb Hopfen: aromatische Hopfenblume, strohig Eindruck: vollmundig, frisch-fruchtig, hefebetont Optimale Trinktemperatur: 4-6°C Etikette: Josef Fässler, Appenzell Seit: 1992

Can courtesy of Swiss Air. A lager of freshness: malt, hop and grass. It’s basic/simple/bland but I’ve had much worse.

On tap at Uto Staffel. Sharp lager aroma. Thick head when poured but gone after a few sips. Taste is fairly uninteresting, but there’s nothing super unpleasant about it either.

Aroma; pale malts, lemongrass, mild freshness. Look; clear pale pale golden body, off white head on. Taste; pale malts, white bread note, lemongrass - leading to a pale malty finish with citric hops notes. Feel; somewhat thin. Overall; drinkable, quite fresh / frisch. Clear dark yellow, whie short lasting, lacing foam head. Barley aroma, not too fresh. Regular barley pale lager taste. (Velp 201607)

On draft at rote fabrik. Waiting for explosions in the sky. Clear pale golden colour with little head. Aroma is almost nonexistent, maybe some honey coming through. No discernible hops. Flavour is alright, but really not exciting. Little body. Again some honey flavour with some hoppiness coming through towards the end. Finish is the most pleasant thing, medium bitterness and some herbal flavours. It’s better than most big swiss lagers but still far from what I’d call tasty.
