2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 duff (5483) - St, Margarets, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2004
UPDATED: JUN 2, 2005 Cask@GBBF04. Wheaty, with some light banana flavours, some lemon in the finish, quite a nice balanced flavour, and pretty easy drinkable (3.0). RE-RATE- Cask@Crosse Keys, Central London. Got more appley/toffee characters in it this time, a touch of alcohol in the finish, which was odd, given its only 4.8%.

A very pale ale with a refreshing punch. A bamboozle of flavours combine into an excellent tasty pint.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2004 Cask-conditioned at the Great British Beer Festival, Kensington Olympia, London. (Thursday Session). Wheaty/banana. Odd beer! [2.6]
Rerate at The Falcon (JDW), High Wycombe. This one was served out of condition: Hazy gold, slightly patchy head. Aroma is sour malt. Slightly sweet and sickly. [2.6].
So far I’ve had this out of condition twice, third time lucky?
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Spiesy (2336) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - MAR 18, 2004
Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London. Pale golden colour. Strong black grape bubblegum aroma, sharply contrast with coriander as well. This beer was the talk of the bar in Saturday due mainly to its odd smell.
