[Cask at GBBF 2004] An orange beer with no head. The nose contains loads of lemon, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of peaches, oranges, lemon, and alcohol (quite impressive for a 4.8% ABV beer)

UPDATED: APR 27, 2005 Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Dark golden. Appley nose with yeasty banana. Sweet and sugary with some candy and sulpur along with stale hops and vegetables. Herbal, bitter finish . Never cared much for Loddon’s beers, and this was certainly not one of their better efforts.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MesandSim (7109) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2009
A Mes rate. Cask at Baker St. ’Sporks. Clean gold with a slight collar of white suds and a little condition. Slightly astringent floral hop aroma with a hint of vanilla. Far too much sweet bready malt in the flavour which overpowers what the hops are trying to do. Late bitterness just about balances it out but overall it’s a rather dull malty golden ale.
