Cask; Special - February 2009.
Full bodied with a complex flavour derived from 7 malt varieties. The finish is smooth with a pleasant hop zing.

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Gold with a thin cream head; slightly spicy hop aroma; flavours are orange peel and sweet digestive biscuit,with an over sweet finish. A rather ordinary beer.

Cask Handpump at the Crown Inn, Stockport 08/02/2009 Floral aroma. Golden coloured and hoppy with some alcohol present. Creamy on the palate. A little bitterness and peppery flavour in a crisp dry finish.
