Tasted this at the Pommelers Rest, London in July 2008. Cask, handpump dispense. Pale cloudy straw in colour with a thin white head. Strong note of lime cordial in the intense aroma. Thin but refreshing mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a digestive biscuit base with strong fruit notes of syrupy lychees, grapefruit and lime. Strong metallic notes from the intense hop resins cut a swathe through the aftertaste. Sweet golden syrup notes in the finish balance things up in the end. An excellent session Golden Ale.

500ml bottle at 4.8%. Pours orange gold with a small head. Aroma has a lovely citrus twang but far too much diacetyl underneath. Taste has citrus to start with a buttery, citrus finish. Oily mouthfeel.

Stillage gravity cask at the Pembury Tavern, London on 21 July 2010 during the pub’s summer festival. Amber with virtually no head within a couple of minutes from dispense. Hoppy - floral/grapefruit with some broad-bean notes. Bittersweet aftertaste, the texture smooth, slightly on the flat side. An OK beer, but not a favourite as sampled on this session.

Cask. Aroma of light malt and some floral notes, golden amber, small off-white head.. Flavour is fine malt, with some nice fruit overtones. Light bodied, very well balanced, tiny tongue tingle, quite drinkable. Very good.

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2010 bottle conditioned. The bottle had some grandpha theme , not very marketable . Aroma is grassy ..with some resins covered over peach esters ...maltiness is very ovbious. FLAVAZ. Ok nothing exciting . Dry palate . Tangy bitter hoppiness. Some peach ester as in the aroma ..chewey sweet malt.: Oily texture on the palate . Plesant ,eazy drinking , but too safe for me to really appreciate.
