Cask. Pours golden in color with a small white head. Fruity and floral aroma with light grassy notes as well in aroma. Light grassy hoppy notes in taste. Easy to drink, great taste and pretty good overall. Feels really smooth.

Cask (Black Door, Helsinki)
Lovely light floral aroma, a touch of honey. Soft palate, gentle carbonatiion. Full in the mouth. Really fruity retronasals, tons of apple and fleshy fruit esters. Honey too. Lovely soft taste, gentle fruity graininess, and with a subtle but potent resiny bitterness. Quite undergrowthy in places, but not earthy. Love the honey, apple, and the incredible smoothness without stickiness. A storming English IPA (this would easily survive the journey)!

Cask. Clear amber beer, frothy head. Floral, slightly herbal hoppiness, dryish biscuity malts, light caramel. Fresh yeastiness is almost peppery. Sweetish, slightly toasty maltiness. Dryish finish with firm but gentle bitterness. Medium bodied, velvety texture. Quite ok.

Flowery and slightly herbaceous nose with lots of sweet malt. Pours a clear gold with not much head. Flavour is bitter and dry with a good balance but not enough hop coming through for an IPA. Assessed as a bitter it’s a good one though.

Bottle from Stirchley Wines and Spirits, Birmingham. Weak, but slightly fruity aroma. The flavour is very strong bitter, malty with a hint of honey. The first mouthful was a shock. A flavour explosion I guess, but it rapidly grew on me.

Cask @ Salhojankadun Pub
Aroma is rather typical to a real ales. It is leathery with peach, apricot, some hay and hints of bready malt. Flavour is somewhat hoppy with gooseberry bush, some peaches, biscuits and hints of nettles. Also somewhat strong bready malt notes making a porridge-like feeling. A bit stale, needs more fruits. Also, the hops feel a bit old; perhaps the trip to Finland was too much for this cask.

Cask @ Great Expectations. Clear pale amber. Citrus fruit aroma, with undertones of horlicks. Taste has decent malt backbone with orangey citrus from the hops. Good beer.
