Ethereal (2399) - Los Angeles, USA - APR 4, 2008
Gravity cask at the Bricklayers Arms in Putney, 2nd April 2008. The final barrel left over from the Boat Race mini-fest! Deep amber and very clear. Both flavour and aroma are an intriguing mix of lime, flowery hops and sweet, light malt. The palate is very sharp and refreshing. An interesting, challenging pint of bitter.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Light, red-gold pour with a fine, white head. Lovely hop aroma citrus and pine. Pretty sweet flavor, quite fruity, lots of melon, some grapefruit and pineapple. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Smooth finish, hoppy but not sharply, sweet but not very, some grass and melon. Alright, not super amazing.
