Cask Handpump at the Ship & Mitre, Liverpool 29/04/2007 Fruit and hop aromas. Golden coloured slightly sweet on the palate and hoppy with some dryness in a crisp and creamy malt finish.

Cask conditioned at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. A rather flat amber pint with a ring of white head; slightly sweet aroma; biscuity flavour with a trace of honey, leading to asweet finish. For a honey beer there is a distinct lack of honey - for me Wychwood’s BeeWyched has set a new benchmark for "honey-ness" - and this comes nowhere near it.

Gravity at Reading Beer Fest, with Kook, Duff, Chris_o and Joeh. Hazy amber, no head. Smell of leather and bad malt. Overpowering glue and slimy spice flavour. Long finish of bleach and that. Smooth sure, but that’s not enough.

Bronze/gold colour. Not much in the aroma. Dry but not very zippy. OK, but doesn’t really come off as a summer refresher - the hops are a bit dusty and restrained. Cask (gravity dispense), Reading Beer Festival 2005.

Dark gold in colour. Nice hop aroma. Mild bitter flavour with quite a hoppy aftertaste. Citrus and piney notes present. Quite refreshing!

Cask @ Reading Festival. Golden, dusty beer with decent bitternes and slightly resiny. Tasty.
