Bottle; amber-brown, clear; malty, toffeeish aroma; sweetish malty caramel taste, maybe some butter, but not too obtrusive; some earthy English hops give balance; quite thick; fresh, decent bitter.

jmgreenuk (4230) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - APR 16, 2013
Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear chestnut brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is fresh, big fruit and malt. Itís one of the nicest English ales Iíve ever smelled. The flavour is slightly weak medium bitter, with lots of malt on the palate. A very tasty beer. A super English ale.
