Draft. An unclear dark golden beer with a rim of off-white head. The aroma has notes of wheat and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, caramel, and bananas - making it a bit cloying, leading to a dry and wheaty finish.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a cloudy yellow color with a small white head. It has a wheaty aroma with some banana, bubblegum and mild hints of clove. The flavor is sweet with juicy fruit gum and not much else. There is a tiny bit of clove spice in the finish. Fuller body than expected and not dry enough for my tastes.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours golden with a nice off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a sweet wheat flavor that turns slightly sour at the finish, along with some banana ester.

A blonde weizen with a thin white head. A rather strong solvent and bananas aroma, with light boiled veggies and baked beans. In mout, a rather light weizen with bananas and light boiled beans, cloves, light bodied. On tap at brewpub, August 27 2009.

On tap. Hazy and opaque orangey golden with hardly any head. Banana, caramel and yeast in the nose. Medium body, heavy carbonation, banana, yeast and some phenols. 130709

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is light caramelish and wheaty. Fruity, banana and oranges mixed with a sweet malt flavour. Mild citric touch. Bitter and estery finish.

Slightly hazy dark gold color with a white head. Aroma of clove spice. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Flavors of clove and banana. Finishes dryish with a touch of grain. Really good hefe, considering it’s made in America.

Ripe banana and white pepper notes with mild soapy astringency. Another wonderful Lodi Beer.

Umna Hefe. Hazy yellow color with a white head. Nice banana and wheat notes. Clean flavor. Very fruity with big banana notes. Very clean finish, lingers a bit.
