Porter łůdzki to nawet dobry porter. Sądziłem że to będzie gorsze piwo za sprawą puszkowej wersji. Nie lubię piwa w puszkach. Ale w tym przypadku to nie przeszkadzało. Wytrawny i gożki w końcůwce. Smak jednak trochę słodkawy. Dobra beżowa piana sporo czasu się trzymała.

Appearance: Black (subtle red) color with a beige head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Chocolate and fruity.
Palate: Medium to full body. A bit sweet and light bitterness. Creamy carbonation.
Taste: Unusual fruity flavor. Toghether with coffee and chocolate.
Overall impression: One of the best Baltic porters I have had.
Personal stats: Can from a trade with EIDesmadre.

Easily the best Baltic porter that Iíve had. Pleasant chocolate malty nose. Very thick bodied with a medium frothy head. A nice dark color. Great porter!

Dark brown color with red flashes, untransparent, brown small head medium to fast falling, full body, low to medium carbonation, oily. Aroma: Very complexed a bit sweet, caramel dark malts, a hinch of alcohol, slightly fruity (prune in chocolate, apple) and a hinch of alcohol notes. Taste: Matureness from toasted malts, low sourness from roasted malts, low sweetness from dark caramel malts, dry fruits, dark chocolate, very long finish toasted with a hinch of sourness and alcohol. Great example of full body Baltic Porter.

The best polish baltic porter out there, in my opinion, and the best baltic iíve had. Even tho itís out of a tin, and itís clearly filtered, itís absolutely amazing. Tastes a bit like the much more popular Żywiec Porter, but feels much thicker, less watery and less alcoholic - and has similar, but deeper and richer taste and aroma. Really a nice one, one of my 3 favorite Polish beers. Bad availibility because of the brewery policy, nowhere to find on tap - lucky they havenít dropped the production of it alltogether. Takes some effort to obtain, but totally worth it.

0.5l can kindly traded with ELDesmadre. Thanks man! This one pours a clear deep deep dark brown body and it has a small quickly bubbly and sidesticking chocolate head. It has a nice roasted and surprisingly hoppy aroma. I get tones of dark and red berries, that acidity that red currants often has, roasted malts, chocolate and I have to say, has this been barreled on bourbon? I ask because it certainly smells like it! Not in a extreme way, but there is definitely some bourbon tones here as well. Yeah, a really nice aroma! It also tastes really surprisingly good! Itís not to - but still on the sweet side, lightly roasted with smooth chocolate and caramel. I must admit that I get more of that woody bourbon-vinous touch found in the aroma as well. Itís also light fruity with a really suiting light acidity towards the finish. I would really not mind drinking this again! Really good, and I suspect this is - and will be - the best both Polish and Baltic porter Iíve had. 21.04.2012
