Bright yellow color with quick bubbles. Smelled citrusy sweet. Lemony, grassy taste, and sweet. Malt is noticeable, but not as good as it could be.

super malty nose--not much else there. clear gold color with very little head. very thin body, first taste is sweetness, and then it turns dry and thin. slightly metallic aftertaste, not great. but i'd still drink it again...

   AROMA 4/10   APPEARANCE 2/5   TASTE 3/10   PALATE 1/5   OVERALL 5/20
beermatrix (1497) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - MAR 8, 2004
Lighter pale golden yellow in color with a clearish body, nearly no head was produced upon a vigorous pour, just a thin bubbly mist that faded faster then most cola drinks, no lace sticks. Aroma is thin on the nose with a bit of grassy hay with subdued sweetness and starch. Taste is not by any means better, more of a subdued starchy soap sweetness, very plain and thin. Flavors are not good, that is, what there is of flavor. Light malts of soggy bread, lighter still is some sweetness and dryness with some soapy notes. Feel is lightly creamy but thin and watery with hardly any body or length. Beyond average in a unappealing way.

Pjones6738 (500) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 18, 2003
Average yellow color with no real head. Light lemony scent. Ick...acidic. Think there's some citrus flavor hiding under the acid. As the beer warms a bit, the acid fades from the flavor (but not my stomach) and its just watery. Not a good beer.

redlem (1213) - Ohio, USA - APR 7, 2003
Light yellow color with a small quickly diminishing head. Citrus hop aroma. Not as dry as their lager. Refreshing but not memorable.

JPDIPSO (4957) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 26, 2002
Light golden color with a smalish yelloe tan head. Mild hops and light oak aroma. Slight oak flavor with a touch of perfume fruitiness. Perhaps a it dated botle. Finishs with a sharp bitterness that subsides quickly. An ale for the masses.
