Bright yellow color with quick bubbles. Smelled citrusy sweet. Lemony, grassy taste, and sweet. Malt is noticeable, but not as good as it could be.

Festival tap: Clear yellow with a nutty and grassy nose. No real flavor besides some nuttiness, hint of orange at the finish.

On draught at the micro-brewery tavern/campground near Unity, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden straw brew with a creamy white head that has some nice retention and good lacing. Aroma of light golden grain malt, a touch of honey, vanilla and some mild flowery hops. Taste is light bodied, some light carbonation with flavors of malted golden grain cereal, a touch of vanilla, honey and flowery hops. Finish is slightly sweet with a crisp and clean cut aftertaste finish. I recall trying this beer at the original location 50 miles north of Unity. The new location and water has improved this beer from over four years ago.

Seems more like a Dortmunder-Helles Pale Lager than a Golden or Blond Ale. Interesting beer overall, much like Capital Bavarian Lager -- head of thick bubbles that dissipates; malty-bready aroma. This one is more pale gold tinted and has more hops in the aroma. Somewhat of a sour homebrew flavor. Flat yet at the same time extremely smooth mouthfeel, the kind of beer least like likely to cause indigestion. Ok overall.

UPDATED: JAN 14, 2006 Decent yellowish color with a small white head. Sweet pex and grassy hops aroma with a touch of citrusy soap. Light grassy hops flavor, with some crappyness entering it as it warms. Soft palate, light flavor. Not bad with a burger.

super malty nose--not much else there. clear gold color with very little head. very thin body, first taste is sweetness, and then it turns dry and thin. slightly metallic aftertaste, not great. but i'd still drink it again...

Light golden color with a smalish yelloe tan head. Mild hops and light oak aroma. Slight oak flavor with a touch of perfume fruitiness. Perhaps a it dated botle. Finishs with a sharp bitterness that subsides quickly. An ale for the masses.

Pale amber tinted color, just the slightest hint of malt in the aroma, perky malt taste with sweetness the emphasis, but the sweetness fades quickly. At least better than a macro

Amber color with no head. Hmm... no head, no aroma, no taste... There’s some vague grain taste, but nothing to note. Pass on this one.
