2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Reddish brown body under a light tan head. Aroma of dark caramel malt, milk chocolate, and a touch of nuttiness. It was rather thin and watery and lacking in any real depth but wasn’t awful, either.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thin brownish ruby color with a thin whitish head that left in a hurry, no real lace sticks. Smell is light malts of a slight roast and nuttyness, with a rather interesting chocolate undertone that helps a it out a smidge. Taste is rather lack luster though, slight roast and nuts, a bit sweet but tame in that regards with a slight starch or husk getting in the way and one hell of a quick finish, where'd it go, I thought I was drinking something? Feel is thin and watery, very inaffective body, nothing much going on here. Boring to say the least, shows effort but needs much improvement.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear mahoganey brown color; red hints. Minimal creamy off-white head.
Fruity chocolate aroma.
Flavor… nutty malt, chocolate, dark berries. A bit thin and the berries give it a slightly sour finish. But overall, not too bad.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark caramel color with a thin small off white head. Roasted, nut malt aroma. Lip tingling brown ale. The best of the Logjam bunch.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
It’s robust, almost shaggy in body, with a decent set of dark malts, though it finishes a touch sweet for my taste. They seem to be doing well - there’s LogJam brews in most Wisconsin liquor stores and I’ll be glad to try some more next time I get over there.

This is a great beer. It had a great dark brown color with a long lasting head. Very malty with a sweet flavor. Very good beer. I will try to have more of this brewers beer.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Ruby brown with a very small head that vanishes quick. Aroma is sweet hazelnuts and milk chocolate. Flavor is very creamy and nutty with a chocolate/vanilla tone. A little light bodied and lacks a bit of depth but still a good nut brown.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Finally a beer by these guys that is not like the other three they have available by the bottle. Has a good dark brown body and pretty good malt aroma. Flavors of nuts, malts, roasts, and caramel are present. This is a beer that I might want to revisite on my next trip up to the land of cheese.

Nice color with gorgeous red highlights. The sweetness is certainly there, but doesnt turn me off. Not chewy enough to compete with Boyne River in my book.
