3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught @ Brouwerís Cafť:   Straw, mild haze, moderate frothy white head, nice lacing.   Strong wheaty and mountain shrub sort of floral nose.   Slight star fruit and caraway.   Floral up front, very shrubby, slight earth and soil, with some rustic like spices.   A little warming, but not alcoholic.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   A little prickly on the tongue.   Mealy backside, wheaty, lingering soil, earth, and shrubbiness.   Could stand to be sweeter, with brighter floral notes.   Very rustic, and interesting.

750, capped and lightly waxed. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a huge surging sudsy platinum blond head. Big egg yolk, earth, and mineral nose. Funky. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Egg yolks, minerals, light nutty and floral notes, and some hay on the mid palate. Mild hay finish. Absolutely lovely.

Boy, do you think there might be some wheat in there? What a head! A dank, dry brett and spice aroma. Very fruity too with apple and peach. In the mouth it is bright and sparkling, with plenty of bready texture too, peppery spice and a good heat to the finish. Very tasty. This would get nice and funky with a little more time. Complex and long-lasting finish.

floral, straw, earthy aromas. Pours a golden cloudy hazy with a rocky white head. Great mouthful with lively carbonation to mingle with bitterness. Kinda a weird tobacco, ash in the flavor. Would defiantly by again.

Love the label and good to see another offering from the Logsdon folks. Pours a pale straw yellow. Foamy head. A light Belgian yeast note. I pick up vanilla and spice amidst the funk. My sister in law detected some fruit notes that I didnít notice. Really light tasting and not 8% tasting at all.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle with MJ. Thanks! Pours a bit hazy golden yellow appearance with a white head. Somewhat grassy, woody/papery, lemon zesty, light honey aroma. Somewhat musty, citrus fruity, toasted malty, banana/honey flavor. A bit strong. Ok.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUL 14, 2013 750ml bottle. Hazy gold body with a fine white head. Strangely floral and musty aroma, papery and plaster-like at times, then fruity / lemon / orange-like. Bright lemon zest, lemon grass, green onion even, some Simcoe-like, which is odd given the hop strain, but could be from the yeast. Acidic with citrus juiciness. Paperly, silt-like, filmy body. Honey sweetness in front with a dry and bitter finish. Nearly brett-like with itís mustiness and abundance of waxy fruit esters. Interesting but also a bit overfermented with notes of cosmetics and soap and hairspray / acetone, especially in the aroma when it opens and warms.

On draught at 2013 North American Organic Brewers Festival. Light golden color and fizzy. Banana, clove, light yeast funk, and spice in the aroma. Taste of sweet spiced banana with a definite balanced bitterness. Finishes dry.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle... Poured clear golden, pale yellow with a moderate forming bright white head. Nose had light esters with floral notes and lemon zest. Itís a subtle beers with some decent hop flavor yet low bitterness, but as it warmed some bitterness became more evident along with a light apple note. Itís supposed to be mimicking Duvel and it does on some sort of level. Full bodied, yet still drying. A subtle hint of grains to balance too win noticeable esters but not a giant yeast presence.
