Pours cloudy golden yellow with a puffy white head. The aroma has notes of fruit, and slight hints of citrus. The taste is light and refreshing with a slightly bitter after taste. The after effect lingers in your throat for a bit. Decent saison.

750ml bottle from Belmont Station. Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a white head. Aroma is fruity, banana, yeasty, bread. Medium on the palate with soft carbonation. Flavor is sweet, bready, cereal, some clove spiciness, a little bubblegum, with a clean, spicy finish. Refreshing.

750 ml bottle- Pours light haze with a white head that sticks around and some nice carbonation bubbles. Aroma is banana, tart, yeasty, fruity and clean. The taste is more in the vein of a kristalweizen (don’t freak, i know it’s not filtered), it has a nice restrained yeasty quality, banana esters, slightly floral, bready. Carbonation is high and body is medium. Good, can’t help but feel that this is a generic test beer for what will be to come, assuming more interesting, not that this isn’t complete quality here, just looking forward to seeing what Chuck Porter has in store for us next.

Nose is nice soft nectarine peach yeast aroma. Mellow false sweetness of the esters. Very yellow and beautiful. Taste is appley and sort of thick ester sweetness that was a bit much for me. Thought it was going to be lighter on the palate but it is a bit thick with the sweetness of the esters and had a shot of bitterness that ends on the sweetness again. This beer had me on the nose but lost be on the taste.

thegreenrooster (3417) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 28, 2015
Pour is a hazy almost wheat beer looking yellow with a large white head. Aroma is all things yeast. Kinda creamy vanilla with sugar to it. Reminds me of the white filling in a oreo. Flavor is a bitter lemon grass with some candi sugar and some pear juice. Finish is a nice citrus bitterness. Pretty good beer. Kinda a cross between a saison and a tripel.

Pours a slightly haze gold, white head with much stamina. Yeast nose. Taste is balanced on the sweetness scale. Pepper, biscuit. Medium body with a nice booze burn. It’s pretty much a perfect bsa.

gramity (1530) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 6, 2015
pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of strong farmhouse notes, hay, and some Belgian yeast. Flavour brings out loads of farmhouse notes, a little banana, Belgian yeast, and a little hay. Also a bit of sweetness. Wonderful depth and high drinkability.

Bottle from Brewfest Bev. Pale golden with haze fluffy head and lace. White wine/champagne aroma with hints of lemon pastry. Medium melon and vanilla sweetness assertive but ephemeral spicy herbal bitterness with lingering vanilla sugar sweetness. Light with soft carbo. Very complex. I’m a little perplexed as to what I think of this, so I will go with...excellent.

Lukaduke (2519) - Portland, Maine, USA - FEB 5, 2014
Pours a rich golden color with a frothy two fingers of white foam. The nose is rustic grain, some honey malt and grassy pine. The palate follows the nose nicely with a heavy grain bill that rounds out the backbone, mid palate brings earthy spiced yeast notes, spearmint, peppercorn, a trace of cedar and some bitter pine to dries out the finish.

Salmoniform (1192) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - FEB 1, 2014
Poured from bottle to glass. Golden hue with white head. Aroma is vinegar, honey, straw, pepper, fruity. Mouthfeel is nice with a light body and high carbonation. Taste is dry throughout with a slightly sour astringent finish. Overall this is a nice farmhouse sour-ish brew.
