I really love this brewery. Even though this isnt their strongest beer its still great. Dirty musty and lightly cherry with some doughy notes and a crisp dry finish.

Sweet cherry flavor, mild acetic character, pretty easy to drink but not very complex or interesting. Thanks Randall, Zwanze Day 2013.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a dark red/cherry colored with a thin white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is ripe with cherries over an acetic acid background. Taste is fruity but also has a definite (but restrained) vinegar character. Sour but not bracingly so. Body is light and mouthfeel is a little thin/watery. Moderate carbonation. Really nice and refreshing!

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle (750 ml). Deep red/burgundy with a low spotty beige head and little to no lacing. Aroma is of bright cherries with light acidic notes, some malt/caramel presence, light tartness and vanilla... quite interesting! Taste is slightly sweet with cherries (lighter than in the aroma), light acidic presence, vanilla, oak and brettanomyces. Lighter body than expected, almost watery. Low carbonation. This one is underrated! This is a very good sour beer with cherries. Drinkable and enjoyable!

Bottle 750ml. thx Mathieuc.
Pours red/slight brown with almost no head (would be beige). Aroma is of cherries, sugar, berries, wood, vanilla. Taste is of cherries, fruits, berries, slight tartness, surprisingly not acid, vanilla. Palate: Light body. Overall: Refreshing. Very good. Nice cherries. Drinkable.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, best by date 01/2018. An interesting beer, clearly well-made. Lots of cherry juice and a substantial touch of oak. It’s a well-balanced kriek with no one flavor dominating. The sourness comes on quick but is washed away quickly. Wanted to age this more and think it would have benefitted but Friday night called...

bottle shared by mathieuc, thanks bro. pours hazy and bright red with a small pinkish head, little retention, some lacing. juicy unripened cherries, bretts, dustiness, minty, incense, dry grassy-herbal notes, citric and lactic with a nice acetic layer. moderate to low carbonation, light body, drying brett and lightly acidic finish. beautiful, really.
