Crimson, garnet, and ruby in the body with a razor thin cotton candy ring that left a single spot in the glass. Tart cherry, dark fruit, raisin, oak, lemon zest, and blue cheese. A little pissy blanket and a touch of earthiness. Solid.

On draft. It pours a deep red color with an off white head. The aroma is cherries with mild funk and cherry skin. The flavor is big with cherries. Not much else going on. High carbonation and low levels of funk. It has a sweet cherry finish. Nice beer if you like mild sours with big cherry flavor.

On tap at Special Brews. Pours a reddish brown color with a white head that leaves good lacing. Smells of cherries, oak, and a funky tartness. Tastes of tart cherries, oak, and slight sourness and well hidden bag. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation and a dry finish. This was a nice barrel aged sour. Reminds me of a lambic but more tart. I’d like to try some of their other sours.

750 thanks to Jay. Lots of carbonation in the pour. Cherry and lambic styled taste. Spritzy. Just the right kind of kriek. Very nice.

Bottle, shared with Parksy and others. Hazy dirty reddish brown with a generous lasting head. The aroma is softly funky and fruity. The palate is rather mellow all around, but very pleasant nonetheless. Ripe cherry, woody funk, earthy undertones. The finish is very tart, mildly sour. Not a hint of the ABV. Pleasant and approachable.

Nice tartness with some cherry flavor. Not overwhelmingly cherry but a nice level. Some vanilla and a little nuttiness. Thin body. Vanilla lingers some in the finish though somewhat subtlety.

3 ounce sample at The Davis Beer Shoppe. The aroma is acetic and acidic. Fairly fruity with light cherry. Nice and funky. Good aroma. Moderately hazy ruddy-amber body with a small, quickly dissipating light tan head. Starts tart, fruity, and nicely sour. Becomes pretty dry, harsh and bitter in the middle. Acidic, too. Light sweetness follows. This has potential, but it kind of loses steam at the end and becomes just sort of bland.
