Bottle pour at DBS. Aroma is light cherry funk. Flavor is muted cherry on the front end with a full cherry background. Coats the back of the throat and sits, hardly acetic. Good beer.

Draft at 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours a reddish purple, little to no off white head. Slight stone fruit nose, jammy and funky. Body big and lively not overly tart. Subtle and lovely.

Bottle. Semi hazy light brown/red with an off white head. Musty bread, oak, light cherry, mild sourness, and a bit a funk. A nice drinkable sour, not too complex, and the body is rather light.

Best by 06/2017 This is a graham color with some cherry hues. Theres a solid sheet of light tan foam. Smells like cherries, oak .some grain, funk and metal. Tart, sharp, cherry, oak, water, bits of soil and musk come into the flavor. It’s a little watery and carries some one dimensional tartness that seems simple without the complexity I’d expect from a soured beer. Thin with light carb and a dry finish. This is interesting, hopefully there is a solera style coming out of the barrels allowing for further growth and complexity in subsequent batches.

750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours deep ruby/brown with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of cherries, some light oak, light tartness, some funkiness, light yeast, and dark and caramel malts. Flavor a great blend of everything. Average texture. A really good beer.

I really love this brewery. Even though this isnt their strongest beer its still great. Dirty musty and lightly cherry with some doughy notes and a crisp dry finish.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle. Murky reddish brown pour. Lots of cherries. Sour and tart, but not overly so on either count. Quite delicious!
